Do you know? - You have the power at any time to change the way you feel. Many people go through life thinking that they feel good or bad, happy or sad, content or angry, because of the people in their life, the things that are happening around them, or the environment that they are living in. They believe that the actions of other people, the environment they are living in, and the things that are happening in their lives, are what influence their mood, i.e. affect the way they feel. While it is true that these things CAN influence the way we feel, they can only do so IF we allow it - No one, No place, and No thing can MAKE you feel a certain way unless you allow it to. I am going to say that again because most people do not really get it - No one, No place, and No thing can MAKE you feel a certain way unless you allow it to. We are even brainwashed into believing that our happiness SHOULD depend on all of these things outside of us and outwith our control! We are taught this from a very young age. When we live with this belief, we give away our power to feel better every day. What if it was a lie? What if, no matter what was going on around you, you could choose to be at peace with it, or not? BUT What if, whatever you choose to feel you control, no one else. You take responsibility for how you feel and how you react - you then have 100% Response-ability and you become Response-able. Would you believe me? or do you believe that the way you feel depends on things outwith your control? Well, what can I say, it´s B O L L O C K S - if you have been brainwashed into this belief you can free yourself NOW! As always, the choice is yours. As William Arthur Ward said -"Happiness is an inside job" You have no control over anyone else or their behaviour. You have no control over your government, your weather, or your pets. The only thing you CAN control is how you react to anything, this will determine how you feel, your actions, and in turn the reactions from those around you. This alone changes your whole world! It is my belief that we must take responsibility, 100% responsibility , for our health and our actions. The body has an inbuilt, natural defence system and by doing all that we can to get into optimal health and strengthen our immune system we are taking responsibility for our self AND at the same time protecting others. In the weeks and months to follow there is going to be a lot of information out there, and you will wonder what is right or wrong. Only you can decide on what works for you. "FEAR is the fastest spreading virus known to mankind" Stress, worry , anxiety, fear, all paralyse the immune system if left unchecked, and effectively mean that you are more susceptible to contracting and spreading any virus that is around. The fear mongering and media frenzy is unlikely to be addressed therefore it is up to you to take control and arm yourself with the tools you need and get into optimal health! You have got this! One of the tools I use is "Tapping" and this is a very effective tool for releasing anxiety and fear. Whatever you use remember to K.I.S.S. - Keep It Super Simple. There are 27 bones in each hand that are intricately connected to allow maximum movement. Our hands are able to nurture, soothe, hold on to , repair and let go when needed. Your hands , like the rest of your body sometimes need extra care. There are so many things you can do to care for your hands. My personal favourite is to exfoliate and then moisturise while massaging the hands and fingers. This is very relaxing and also helps the blood flow. Below you will find some tips for hand care.
